Ellen Daley is the Nutritionist for RU Health Services-Newark. She received a BA in Social Science from Boston College, a BS in Nutrition from Framingham State University and a MS in Nutrition Education from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Ellen is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator. Her past experience includes working in community nutrition with the Meals on Wheels program, Women, Infant and Children Feeding program and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Education program. Her clinical experience includes working atuniversity hospitals with specialty areas that include HIV/AIDS, cysticfibrosis, oncology and diabetes.
Ellen’s current work focuses on healthy eating across the campus. She is available for individual nutrition sessions with students to discuss healthy eating, weight management, diets for medical conditions and to answer any questions or concerns students may have related to nutrition. Ellen is also involved in many activities around campus including health fairs, offering sessions at the Golden Dome Athletic Center on nutrition and exercise, working on establishing a campus food pantry for students and staff and speaking to avariety of student groups about healthy eating.
