Newark Campus H1N1 Flu Update

Note 13 cases of Influenza A ( H1N1 flu ) since Sept 1 - all recent cases sent home to recuperate.

Injectable H1N1 vaccine is not available at the Newark Campus NJ Dept. of Health cannot predict when it will become available Newark Health Center has a limited supply of H1N1 intranasal "mist" which can be obtained by appointment if eligible.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

Get the H1N1 flu vaccine!

If you have "flu-like" symptoms - GO HOME - do not expose classmates, friends, and community.

SELF-ISOLATE IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT FLU - wash hands frequently, cough into tissues or sleeve, eat, sleep sufficiently, maintain a clean environment, and keep away from sick people.
