Pharmacy Services

Our pharmacy serves the Newark community - students, faculty and staff are welcome, including family members, members of other universities, and anyone in the community with pharmacy needs. Remember us if you need - low cost, great service, over-the-counter and prescription items, health aids, vitamins, herbals and homeopathic preparations!

The Newark Pharmacy, located on premises of the Newark Health Center at Blumenthal Hall, Room 104, is open year round, to serve students, staff and faculty.

Our low-cost pharmacy handles basic over-the-counter items and medications, including homeopathic products, and prescriptions from Rutgers' and outside health care providers. We accept credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa and Discover, and several prescription plans, including the New Jersey State employees' plan.

The Health Service Pharmacy is now open Mondays through Fridays, 8:45am - 4:45pm
